In 2022, I launched the first Giving With Pride project. Together, we raised $10,800 for five incredible causes: BARCS Animal Shelter, The Trevor Project, Love and Lunches, Stand Up to Cancer, and the Children’s National Hospital. What is Giving with Pride

Giving With Pride is a charitable program associated with my real estate business. For every buyer or seller who closes a real estate transaction with me, Jackie Garber, REALTOR®, I make a donation of $500 to one of five charities. In addition, for each buyer and seller referral that closes we me, I will make a donation of $100  to one of these charities as well. The beauty of this program is that you get to choose which charity receives the money.

Last year, BARCS received $3,900, The Trevor Project was received $2,600, Love and Lunches received $2,200, the Children’s National Hospital received $1,100, and StandUp2Cancer received $1,000. It means a lot to me to be able to give back to our community while helping my clients with their real estate needs.

A Look at 2023 Charitable Causes

Once again, we picked some amazing charities for 2023. New to our list this year, we have The Children’s Heart Foundation, Pets for Vets, and True Colors United. We are happy to announce we are keeping Love and Lunches and BARCS for another year. The main purposes of Giving with Pride is to donate to charitable organizations to make a difference in our community. By including you – our clients – in the process, it gives you the opportunity to also give back to those in need.
